1. Open the image you wish to tile.

2. Edit > Define Pattern

3. Name the pattern and click ‘OK’.

4. Open the document you wish to add the tile image to.

5. Edit > Fill

6. On the ‘Contents Use:’ drop down select ‘Pattern’.

7. Click ‘Custom Pattern’ and you will see your Pattern.

8. Click ‘OK’.

If like me, you often get the tile pattern wrong first time round you can delete unwanted patterns:

1. Edit > Preset Manager

2. On the ‘Preset Type:’ drop down select ‘Pattern’.

3. Select your unwanted pattern then click ‘Delete’.
